During this month, replanting, fertilisation, pruning and bud removal are to be avoided. Towards the end of the month, the seeds mature and can be collected from the pods before they fall, when their colour has turned very dark. The seeds gathered can be planted later.
In this period, the plant looks good with its shrub covered in thick foliage which in hot and dry climates will begin to wither. The plant reaches the height of its vegetative development before entering into a period of rest. Like for previous months, it is recommended you use an irrigation system that does not wet the leaves, and avoid water stagnating at root level.
